Cellulose Derivatives
Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) is a highly effective additive for improving product and processing characteristics in various fields of application, such as food, oral care and technical applications. CMC is also ideal as disintegrant in pharmaceuticals, and is offered through the WALOCEL™ C, WALOCEL™ CRT and clear+stable™ brand names.
Cellulose fibrous casings supplied by CaseTech have stood the test of time through many decades. Their characteristics include a natural visual appeal and long shelf life, trouble-free machinability and size consistency. Casings specially made from pure cellulose are supplied for spreadable dry sausage varieties. These products are available under the WALSRODER™ Casings brand.
Ethylcellulose products are versatile, organosoluble, thermoplastic polymers that can enhance the performance of a wide variety of applications, such as industrial coatings, pharmaceuticals, and foods. These multifunctional polymers available under the ETHOCEL™ Ethylcellulose Polymers brand name.
With their ability to provide coating, film forming, and binding functions, the toughness, inertness, and fabrication and product versatility of these polymers allow them to meet a wide range of performance requirements in sheet form, as molding and extrusion resins, as pressure casting resins, and as resins for various coatings.

Hydroxyethyl Methylcellulose (HEMC/MHEC)
Hydroxyethyl methylcellulose provides many of the same benefits as other methylcellulose derivatives, such as the ability to efficiently thicken and provide water retention, These products, offered under the Walocel® M brand, are frequently used within construction materials applications such as tile adhesives, grouts, mortars and plasters.
Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC)
