Latex-based Emulsion Paints
In latex paint formulations, CELLOSIZE™ Hydroxyethyl Cellulose products offer ease of solution, low-foaming, thickening efficiency, and excellent color development and acceptance. Its non-ionic character contributes stabilization over a wide pH range and permits broad formulating latitude. Enzyme resistant grades (ER-grades) of CELLOSIZE HEC are often chosen by formulators for added microbial stability. WALOCEL™ M products also provide a rich, creamy consistency with low spatter for paints when applied with a brush or roller.
